Audio Conversion

audio conversion If you have problems with audio distortion created by feeding 32/48khz digital video into TMPEnc. the simplest way to correct it is using the VirtualDub. Load the first file produced by AVI_IO into it (VirtualDub is clever enough to read all the files as if they are one), set the video to direct stream copy and set the audio to full processing mode. Under conversion on the audio menu set the required frequency (44.1khz) tick high quality and then select save segmented AVI from the file menu. VirtualDub will then produce a new set of sequential AVIs with the correct audio frequency for SuperVideoCD. On my Athlon 700 VirtualDub performs this at about 45 frames per second so the conversion should be done in a little over half the time of your project.
